Free Services
Vehicle Decoding
Europe’s leading decoder for American vehicles, Paul Hilton, offers this service exclusively to club members free of charge. All types of codes can be deciphered including - VIN/Chassis and body tag/plate codes; Engine; Gearbox and Axle. Paul can also decode American or Canadian manufactured vehicles assembled in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Please send your codes along with membership number either by email (these are usually decoded within 48 hours) or by post (enclosing four first class stamps) to club Headquarters.
Year of Manufacture Confirmation for DVLA
Year Related Registrations
If you wish to apply to the DVLA for one of these services, you will require a year verification certificate confirming the year of manufacture of your vehicle, which we can provide free of charge.
We will require a rubbing of your VIN/Chassis and body tag/plate codes, a photocopy of your Vehicle Registration Document (V5), or Import Documents and three photographs (not photo-copies) of your vehicle (front, rear and side). Please send all of the above with membership number and four first class stamps to club Headquarters.
Additional charges will apply for two or more vehicles per membership year, please enquire regarding extra charges.
Insurance Valuations
We can provide you with a valuation certificate stating the current value of your vehicle (for insurance purposes only) free of charge. Please send a stamped self-addressed envelope for Vehicle Condition Declaration form to Club Headquarters.
Additional charges
If a member is also a proprietor of a related business and requires the above services for his/her business or a client, extra charges will apply.
Please note: The postage requested for the above must be enclosed with documents, otherwise we cannot return or complete the free service. Also please allow at least 7-10 days (first class stamps) or 10-14 days (second class stamps) for us to complete and return documents.
Non-members
The above services are only provided to members of the associated clubs, they are not available to non-members.
